Competition

The Generation Z has been hearing this word since they were born. Its not new to them. THey have made it a part of their life. perhaps its one of the most common word. And where did it originate from? Well its relatively new for the generation X and created by Generation Y, The people born in 80's and 90's respectively.

The generation X is the ones who were born with playing to friends around always, making things at home, no bid cities and no more complex life.

The Generation Y, they are the ones who were born in the 90's, watching TV and listening to music on the first Ipod and the ones to use the first iPhones. I believe they are the ones who creates the need of competition. There always was a need of economic push for the betterment of the country. The west realised it was in their best interest to bring globalization and take it to the peak.

So, golbalization is a term technically used to represent that the globe is one and the world needs no boundaries. So true, and sounds really good! We have been doing this and following the trend, making the best of Global products, increasing cost, stress, quality and what not! but did we really care about quality more or just about the price? Its my experience that elders said, there was a quality earlier, now its more about reach!

and thats the difference. The more competitive, means more survival and more reach. See the Most successful products today are the ones having the greatest reach. The more options given. The more choice, virtually, though everything's same, but labelled differently.

So Competition is get more marks? but how much? more than anyone in your school? more than anyone has ever had in the state, country or the world? Thats not competition, thats a sickness, an insecurity the parents had when they could not get more marks, now thats being transferred to their kids. Perhaps they wanted to, but they could not. now they want their kids to do things that they couldnt.

I see parents saying they want to give everything they did not have. Those are material things. The best gift parents can give their children is freedom. Freedom to do whatever they wish to. IS that too costly? I mean what would society say? Well parents, are concerned more about the society and not their children are the worst kind of parents. And those are the ones responsible for children taking help for rehabilitation.

So, in a narrow concept, this global concept of competition has led into the families and into the individual child's growth, which is toxic in nature. some day, or the other, this system of passing on the more marks shall vanish and a free world shall emerge!

Peace to all!
