to do or not to do, get over it.
We have been there... that situation where we feel to do it, yet do not do it.
Because some things in life are more important to you than others.
Situations like breakups, divorce, resignation... You have to make a choice.. Do it or not.
The consequences are real. You get free from the prison of mental dilemma, free your mind of negativity and make room for positivity.
It is even more dangerous to continue doing it.
How to take action in these situations? Well, we are mostly driven by a cause and a reason. While you continue to suffer in such situation is totally upto you, getting out is totally upto you.
The first things to consider..
1. Why would I want to do that?
2. What are the consequences?
3. How am I going to do that?
4. How would that affect me in the future?
5. What are other options?
Do it if you are determined and do it fast. The more you continue to be in that situation, the more you would be used to that guilt and shame. It would drain you mentally and emotionally. You would be in a really bad shape after.
It is important not to take help of anyone else if you can't do it alone. These decisions are tough and taking help for one day may help, but not in the long run. In most cases, helpers are the ones who drown you into these situations even more.
So, make it a habit of not asking for help and do it on your own. After all, its your life. Nobody would be bothered and only you would be the one taking care of your life after that.
Get out of the situation. And do not talk much about the situation with your torturer. They would want you to be there always to feed onto.
Do this abruptly. Do not let them any hint that you are taking an action. Make some plan yourself.
Once done, do not go back. You would be going to hurt even more badly. You would ruin what you accomplished. Just keep moving and be proud of yourself.
